To the serious barista, “pulling a shot” is a true art and a great shot is a source of pride. At Flipnotics, we have some serious baristas who have truly mastered their art form.
Just because one achieves mastery does not mean one stops learning. In the continual pursuit of perfection, our baristas loaded up yesterday and hit the streets in the name of research.
They visited several Austin coffee shops and sampled espresso across town. While we believe Flipnotics has the best espresso, hands down, it was great to see other baristas in action and to observe how others practice this art, too.
