Cool Off!

Summer is one of our favorite times of the year here at Flips! When the temperatures start to heat up the fair folk of Austin really come out to play. There is simply no better zip code than the ’04. Why? Because in the heart of the coolest city on earth  you can stretch out under a shade tree and let your bones warm way up, then hop in a gorgeous natural, spring-fed pool to rinse that Texas summer off! We love Barton Springs. We love the folks keeping it weird walking to and fro down below our shady decks. And you know what all of those walkers and bikers and swimmers and pooches love when they are out enjoying this holy Austin site? Stopping in at Flipnotics for some original refreshment.

How about some bubbly Topo Chico mixed with hibiscus tea and a splash of o.j. poured over a tall glass of frosty crushed ice? If that sounds great to you, ask one of our awesome baristas for a Hippie Fizz the next time you’re out showing the Springs some love!
