Too Darn Hot

In the words of Cole Porter…

“I’d like to sup with my baby tonight/refill the cup with my baby tonight/but I ain’t up to my baby tonight ’cause it’s too darn hot!”

Yesterday the the thermometer topped out at 109 in the ATX.  It was the hottest day in June on record!  We natives know that the only thing to do when it gets this hot is to find a body of water and jump in…but what do you do when you are done in the pool or the pond and are about to turn into a raisin in the sun?  You have to get inventive in this kind of heat. 

In the spirit of invention, we at Flips are experimenting with some new summer drinks to cool you down and you can look forward to some fiesta on our shaded decks!
